A warm welcome to St. Mark’s Wyke, the Parish Church for Normandy. We are at the corner of Westwood Lane and Guildford Road and our church is open daily for visitors. Its usually a quiet space during the week, open for all for prayer and reflection and for young visitors we have a Heritage Trail quiz.
We are a growing church community from a variety of backgrounds, ages and traditions bringing different skills and experiences. We seek to be welcoming, inclusive and actively enquiring about the Christian faith and our journey with God. Throughout the year we have Christenings (Baptisms), Weddings and Funerals, please see further details on this website if you would like to find out more.
We strive to nurture faith in a variety of ways and to engage with life in the community and the world beyond. Our Sunday services are a mix of formal and informal worship, and during the week there are daytime and evening groups that meet on a regular basis. Our buildings are accessible, both the church and hall have the Loop System for hearing aid users and we have large print versions of services and hymns. Each month we hold a Hearing Aid Clinic in St Mark's Hall.
Our modern St Mark's Hall is available to hire. Please see the tab above.
We really look forward to welcoming you.
